私は子ども頃から不思議なことばかり考えていました。
夢見がちな子どもだった様です。
私は、とても大きな赤ちゃんだったそうです。
出産が予定よりも１０日ほど遅れ、母のお腹の中ですくすく育ってしまいました。
出産時の体重は、４，０２０gでした。
案の定、難産だったそうです。分娩室に入ってから産まれるまで、とても時間がかかり、母は、分娩中に生死を彷徨ったそうです。
もしかしたら、母は、私を産むことで命を落としていたかもしれません。そして、私も死んでいたかもしれません。
なんとか、その局面を乗り越えて、母子ともに無事に出産を終えることができました。
実は、
私が物心ついてから聞いた話ですが、
母は、私の出産中に、なんと臨死体験をしたそうです。
母が味わった生と死のはざまの話を、小さいころから何度も聞かされました。あれは今でも忘れない体験だった。決して夢ではなかったと…
母は、私を出産中に、天につながる暗い大きなトンネルを、どんどん上昇していったそうです。
トンネルを抜けると、たくさんの人が母を待っていました。その人たちは、みんな知っている顔で、とても親しみを感じる人たちだったそうです。
とても懐かしい気持ちになったのもつかの間、その中の誰かに
「ここは、まだ、あなたの来る場所ではないのです。帰りなさい。」と言われそうそうです。そして、気が付くと分娩室に意識が戻っていたそうです。
この体験は、いつになっても忘れないと、母は言います。
母は死後の世界の入り口まで行ったのでしょうか。とても心地よい世界だったようですが、それでも、この世に戻ってきて私を生んでくれました。
本当に戻ってきてくれてありがとう。そのお陰で私は、こうして生きています。
私と母はとても仲がいいです。兄妹からは、私が母に一番かわいがられていると言われます。趣味、嗜好、考え方、感じ方、得意なことなどがとても似通っています。話し始めると止まらないほどです。電話をしても話が尽きず、２時間を超えることもざらでした。でも、マザコンではありません(笑)
確かに、母とは強い絆や愛情を感じます。
きっと縁があって、今生は親子なんだろうなと思います。
そんな母を、これからも大切にしていきたいです。
